This separation lasted until the end of 2020. Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. stated in December 2020 that it will combine Venucia back into Dongfeng Nissan.

A private automobile corporation with its headquarters in Singapore, VinFast LLC was created in Vietnam. It was created in 2017 and is a subsidiary of Vingroup, one of the biggest private conglomerates in Vietnam and the brainchild of Phm Nht Vng.
