ATF TYPE F of 77 lubricants is a high-friction automatic transmission fluid intended for use in automatic transmissions of all Ford vehicles built prior to 1977 and certain models built in the period 1977-1980, which require fluids that meet the Ford ESW-M2C33-F specification.
ATF TYPE F is formulated on highly refined mineral base oil combined with a unique additive package to achieve the following properties.
• Extensive thermal and oxidation stability.
• Superior anti-wear technology protects the transmission from wear.
• Improved fluidity at low temperatures allows for rapid circulation in cold climatic conditions.
• Compatible with all common sealing materials.
