BMW repair history check by VIN number
Hello, I'd like to check my BMW's repair history. Authorized dealers can do this by searching my car's VIN and generating a detailed "Vehicle History Report," but they won't do it to the depth I need without written permission from the previous owner. Which they likely won't provide.
The type of information I need includes service codes, which show the issues the car had at the time of each service.
Has anyone else encountered a similar situation? If so, were you able to obtain the information you needed?

Official dealers don't provide a full VIN repair report without the previous owner's permission. This is a privacy policy, but BMW VIN Check can provide a wealth of useful information, including year, model, options, owner history, odometer readings, and service visit records. Even a basic report provides a good understanding of the vehicle's history.
