Wuling

As a joint venture between Liuzhou Wuling Motors Co., Ltd. (also known as "Wuling Group") and Wuling Automobile Group Holdings Ltd., Liuzhou Wuling Automobile Industry Co., Ltd., also known as Wuling Motors and written in Chinese as Wuling Qch, or "Five Diamonds Motors," is a Chinese automaker.

They manufacture auto components, micro electric cars, people movers, lorries, and buses, as well as engines and special purpose vehicles.

Additionally, the business runs SAIC-GM-Wuling, a joint venture between SAIC and General Motors (SGMW).

Wuling

Since 1982, Wuling has been producing microvans. With Mitsubishi Motors, Wuling's forerunner Liuzhou Automotive Industry Corporation, signed a contract in 1986 to produce the L100 type Mitsubishi Minicab. The Liuzhou Wuling LZ110 was the brand name for this little vehicle.

In 1992, the first Wulings were exported and delivered to Thailand.

"SAIC Wuling Automobile Co. Ltd." was founded in 2001, and SAIC-GM-Wuling, a partnership between SAIC Motor and General Motors, was founded in 2002.
