Rinspeed

A mobility pioneer and concept automobile constructor from Switzerland is Rinspeed Inc. Since 1991, they have also created unique ideas and exceptional cars, although they do not go into production, for the CES in Las Vegas, the Geneva Motor Show, and other annual auto events.

Zen Rinspeed
A Rinspeed concept car called the zaZen was unveiled for the first time at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. It was created in partnership with Bayer MaterialScience and is based on the Porsche 911 (997) Carrera S platform.

A flat-6 engine with a displacement of 3,824 cubic centimeters (233.4 cu in) and a maximum output of 355 horsepower (261 kW) at 6600 revs powers the zaZen. The vehicle has a 0-to-60 mph acceleration time of 4.8 seconds and a peak speed of 182 mph (293 km/h).[8]

sQuba

The Rinspeed sQuba is a concept automobile based on a Lotus Elise that has zero emissions and can "fly" underwater. After being inspired by the film The Spy Who Loved Me for 30 years, it made its premiere at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show. In the opening episode of Fifth Gear's fourteenth season, the sQuba was highlighted.

A proposed amphibious vehicle called the Rinspeed Splash has a hydrofoil design and can go at 45 knots on the water or about 200 km/h (120 mph) on land. This odd-looking car can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and weighs just 825 kg (1,819 lb). It is powered by a 750 cc, two-cylinder, natural gas-burning turbocharged engine that produces 140 horsepower (104 kW) at 7000 rpm. At the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, it made its debut. Top Gear included The Splash in one of its episodes. By traveling across the English Channel in a hydrofoil automobile in 3 hours and 14 minutes, it set a record in 2006.


iChange

iChange Rinspeed April 2009
The iChange is a concept automobile that adapts to the number of up to three passengers it is carrying in terms of design and configuration. At the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, it was introduced. A 150 kW (201 hp) electric motor powers the automobile, which is operated via an Apple iPhone. The iChange can reach a peak speed of 136 mph (219 km/h) and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just under four seconds.

UC
An electric microcar idea called the Rinspeed UC debuted at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. UC, as in "You see," is an acronym for "Urban Commuter." It is a miniature vehicle that is 2.5 meters long and is driven by a central joystick.

Budii


At the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, Rinspeed Budii

The 2015 Geneva Motor Show is Budii idea revolves around the potential of autonomous vehicles in the future. Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2X) radio-based communications, radar, and motion sensing systems, including enhanced video monitoring, are just a few of the projects that are on show at Budii. Additionally, it has a TrackView telescopic laser scanner on the roof that can be elevated by 70 centimeters and provides an accurate 3D perspective by integrating data from all the different sensors to map the ground around it.

Ʃtos
Ʃtos is a concept that was shown during the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show and is based on the BMW i8. It debuted at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.


The 2017 Geneva Motor Show included Oasis.
The Rinspeed Oasis concept car, which was unveiled in late 2016 and debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January 2017, advances Rinspeed's 2015 Budii and 2016 Etos concept cars by fusing cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technologies, social media, and mobility as a service into a small car dubbed a "living room" on wheels. A battery-electric powertrain, retractable steering, solar panels built into the roof, floor to ceiling glass doors, and an augmented reality display are all included. The dash-mounted garden with sensors that tell the user when to feed the plants is a unique feature for a car. Additionally, it debuted at the Detroit Auto Show. Kostal was one of the project's partners.
