Greek company Alta produced both light and heavy three-wheeler vehicles, as well as motorbikes and passenger automobiles. In its first facility in Athens, production of motorbikes and three-wheeled vehicles powered by Sachs 50cc engines began in 1962. The dependability of the 50S motorbike type was well renowned (some survive to date in good working condition). Model A700, a bigger three-wheel vehicle with a 2-cylinder BMW 35 hp engine and a payload of 800 kg, was designed and created in 1967. The truck was one of the most popular cars of its class in Greece because of its appealing look and good dependability. Alta unveiled the A200, a three-wheeled passenger vehicle, in 1968. (Three wheelers were classified differently according to Greek law).

Between 1919 until 1967, the British manufacturing firm Alvis Car and Engineering Company Ltd. operated in Coventry. The business developed racing cars, aviation engines, armored cars, and other armored warfare vehicles in addition to vehicles for the civilian market.

Gumpert's participation in this project was permitted by Audi under the proviso that the new sports vehicle would not be a prototype but rather a series model.


Under the name "GMG Sportwagenmanufaktur Altenburg GmbH," the business was established in 2004. Marco Vanetta developed the technical specifications and created the initial automobile concepts. After Vanetta finished this procedure, the first 1:4 scale replica of Gumpert's automobile was created in 2002

The world's largest automaker in China, BAIC Group, made the decision to launch an electric vehicle brand in 2017. The first vehicle to be sold locally was a microcar marketed for the upper class, dubbed Lite.

The Arcfox brand made its global debut in March 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show, announcing its plans to expand its operations outside of China to the continent of Europe.

The Arcfox brand structures introduced in Europe were entirely distinct from the Lite model's idea. The first car was a big ECF SUV prototype, the styling of which was handled by Walter de Silva, a designer best known for his work with the Volkswagen Group.

Simon Saunders established Solocrest Ltd. in 1991. In 1999, the name was changed to Ariel Motor Company Ltd. The trade arm of the Ariel Motorcycles corporation, run by the Ariel Owners Motorcycle Club (AOMCC), is still the original Ariel Motors. With only 30 workers and an annual production capacity of up to 100 automobiles, Ariel Motor Company is one of the smallest automotive manufacturers in the UK.

With its headquarters in London, Arrival Ltd. is a British electric vehicle company that specializes in producing light commercial vehicles. Arrival revealed a new passenger bus in June 2020 that was created for the social isolation of the coronavirus period.

At its location in Banbury, Oxfordshire, R&D is conducted. Arrival purchased a new facility in Bicester in March 2020 with the intention of turning it on by 2021 and beginning manufacturing there in 2022. Arrival opened its North American headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, in December 2020. According to Arrival, their electric cars are the first EVs to have the same price as their gasoline and diesel counterparts. The business has developed an electric vehicle platform that can be expanded to produce several versions across various vehicle classes.

Klaus Dieter Frers, a mechanical engineer who had previously worked for AEG-Telefunken and Nixdorf Computer, where he oversaw their manufacturing facilities from 1983 to 1987, invented Artega. Frers founded two businesses: paragon electronics GmbH in 1988 and paragon AG in 1999, which merged into paragon electronic GmbH. For the automobile sector, paragon AG specializes on electronic modules, controls, and display systems. Frers is a vehicle collector, a participant in antique racing, and one of the owners of Voltabox Deutschland GmbH.

In 2006, Frers established Artega Automobil. German brand-development specialist Manfred Gotta came up with the company's name.

Ascari

Klaas Zwart established Ascari Cars Ltd., a British automotive manufacturer with headquarters in Banbury, England. Zwart served as Petroline's former chairman and main owner. Petroline created and produced its own downhole technology. Weatherford acquired gasoline in 1999.

Alberto Ascari (1918–1955), the first driver to win the World Championship of Drivers twice, inspired the naming of the business.
