The Briggs brothers, Neill (Director of Product Development) and Ian (Design Director), established the Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) in 2009. Before deciding to broaden their creative potential by developing a product from scratch, the Briggs brothers provided design and technical consulting services to auto manufacturers such as Mercedes, Porsche, Bentley, and Ford.
The outcome was the BAC Mono, an open-top, single-seat, lightweight sports automobile that was road legal.
The first BAC Mono was created in 2011 and debuted in front of the general audience at the Stuttgart, Germany, Retro Classics event.
